Great experience with Eungul to discover Dongmyo Flea Market, have Jjolmyeon and Han river lookout point! It was really informative but also casual like spending time with a local friend. Eungul was really generous with his time as well and made sure I knew how to get back to my hotel. Really enjoyed my tour.

This was a wonderful memory for me, such a fun and relaxing tour. It was a great way to unwind and really enjoy the smaller parts of Korea that I would have missed if I was on my own! Definitely recommend! I’ll definitely do another tour next time.

I've been following Kimchiman on IG for a while and really liked the vibe of his posts and the info he provides. So when I went to Korea I knew I wanted to book some tours with him/GoGetKorea. And it did not disappoint! His tours are very informative, yet fun and they give you a very local vibe, not touristy at all. I also liked the fact that he keeps the groups small. I'm still in touch with some of the people I met on his tours.
And maybe also good to mention that as a female solo traveller, I felt perfectly safe and comfortable.
I'm planning to go back to South Korea with my daughter and I will definitely book some tours with him again.

I have taken 2 tours so far and both have been so memorable. The first tour was a walking tour called "Unplugged Seoul" where we had to find our destination using only a paper map. I loved that we were able to be off of our phone and just fully immerse ourselves in the area. We were fully present and in the moment. There are so many people who offer tours that feel the same but Eungul's tours are unique. If you want a tour that is different from all of the others book this one.
The second tour I chose was called "Seoul local day" and I loved it so much! I enjoyed walking Mangwon and experiencing a new neighborhood. The market was busy because it was a holiday but even though it was a little crowded it felt alive and authentic. We tried yummy food and ate dumplings. And we explored and tried a couple cafes. It was a relaxing day that ended with new friends and a lot of laughs. You can really tell that Eungul is kind and considerate and takes pride in the tours he curates.

DMZ Tour
I booked this tour because I followed Kimchimen on Instagram and he seemed really nice. I wasn't disappointed. I felt like spending a day with a friend. The tour was great and I like to think back. I loved it because it was away from the typical tourist trails. I look forward to the next visit and will definitely book another experience.

It was so much fun to experience a side of Seoul that doesn't show up on tourist sites. Getting to see quieter parts of the city, and how people live in a small neighborhood, alongside a local resident, was a truly memorable experience.

Amazing tour walking around Mangwon Market, enjoying a local cafe, and learning about history along the Han River. Highly recommend booking a tour that felt like a typical day, not commercial and cookie cutter!

Unplugged Seoul: Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I did the unplugged Seoul tour on June 2. Due to some scheduling changes I was the only participant on this day. Perfect for me, nothing beats a private tour. 😃
The purpose of this tour is to find a place offline, only with a paper subway map, my Tmoney card and some hints from Eungul, the tour guide. Everything without smartphone! 3 hours of analog fun.
After meeting, we went to a vending machine where I got a disposable camera to document our little journey. Then I picked a random mission (a place to find somewhere in Seoul) out of a stack of mission cards and the chase began. While taking subways and exploring parts of Seoul, I otherwise would have never seen, we had great chats about this and that.
With a few hints here and there and "following my nose" I completed my mission 💪.
We had a coffee after and at the end I got a printed photo to document my success.
If your interested in a unique and fun way to explore Seoul, I highly recommend to book this tour. And Eungul is a really nice guy you can easily connect with. 10 ⭐️ from me for this experience.

I had a really great time discovering, feeling, tasting, experiencing, connecting to and appriciating Seoul. A bit of Seoul got stuck within my soul. That’s how good his tour and how eminently excellent Eungul is!

Doesn't feel like a generic tour, it feels like youre with a friend while he's showing you around. He's energy is warm and calm and really cares about each one of us. I enjoyed my day with him.

Going on these tours was the best decision I made planning my trip to Seoul. Large groups are hard for me, so the smaller group felt comfortable, you make friends with each other fast. No where you go is over crowded because it’s real - real people going about their day in their own beautiful neighborhoods. There’s enough information shared that you still feel like you’re learning about the area, the city and whole country - while sharing jokes and laughing together like this is just your friend showing you around their home town… which I guess it really is lol because what other tour guide is going to help you haggle in the underground mall?
Book one, book all of them - you’re going to check so many things off your Seoul bucket list that you wanted to do but in a far more authentic way, with the perks of an actual local from the neighborhood.

Mark gave us an incredible experience in Korea! From the very beginning, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire tour feel personal and fun. He shared so much about Korean culture, history, food, and local spots that we never would have discovered on our own.
