Why Hapjeong?
Hapjeong is one of Seoul’s most creative neighborhoods. Tucked between Hongdae’s energy and Mangwon’s local charm, it’s where independent cafés, rooftop studios, and quiet side streets live.
It’s also one of the few areas in Seoul where the coffee culture feels personal — not performative.
If you’re going to have coffee with strangers who won’t stay strangers for long, Hapjeong is the place to do it.
What is Coffee Run?
Coffee Run is a casual, no-pressure coffee meetup in Seoul.
It’s designed for solo travelers, digital nomads, and anyone who wants real human connection without the awkwardness of formal networking or the choreography of a guided tour.
You show up at Hapjeong Station Exit 7, we walk to a local café together, have coffee — and if the weather’s good, we’ll head to a nearby park after.
That’s it. No itinerary. No agenda. No group activities. Just conversation with a small group of people who happen to be in Seoul at the same time.
Who is it for?
If you’re traveling Seoul solo and your hostel common room isn’t cutting it — this is for you.
If you’ve been scrolling your phone at a café alone and wondering if there’s a low-key way to meet people without downloading another app — this is for you.
Coffee Run is especially popular with young travelers from Europe, Australia, and beyond who want to experience Seoul through a local lens rather than a tourist one.
That’s it.
I will be there.
